Thursday and Friday, I visited a place near Dawson City called Crocus Bluff. It is right next to my house, about 15-20 minutes walk in the mountains. There is a magnificent view over the city, we can clearly see the confluence of the Klondike and Yukon River.
The place is easy to access and very rich. In addition to different panoramic viewpoints, there are a multitude of plants and fungi, some growing better on the south face of the cliff (dry and hot) and others on the wet and cool forest's soil. There is little infrastructure in the vicinity, apart from an unexpected cemetery, rather shaky, located in the same forest.
The place has many interesting sites where to install my project. There are several clearings in the forest and the soil appears to be malleable, it should be easy to dig a hole.
